Below are calendars showing the bookings for Claremount rooms.
Please remember to check the availability of all the rooms you require – for instance, if you need the kitchen or not when you book one of the halls. (All rooms except the Art Room have wheel chair access).
The calendars have two views and you may choose to look at the weekly view or the monthly view.
New Hall – being built in the 60s it is relatively new compared to the church’s 110 years. It is a spacious room with a wood block floor and easily takes a bouncy castle when hired for a birthday
party. There is a curtained stage which is out of bounds to hirers.
Rendevous – this is the first room in the suite of rooms off Sandy Lane entrance. It is fitted with tables and chairs and a hatch to the kitchen. There is a slight disadvantage in that it is also an access
corridor to the further rooms.
Lounge – this is a comfortable room furnished with arm chairs. Suitable for quiet activities such as lectures or services. There is also access to the kitchen via a hatch.
Old Hall – contemporary with the age of the church (1910) the old hall takes a lot of use from the various uniformed organisations, badminton groups etc. A bit smaller than the New Hall and
somewhat in need of decoration.
Kitchen – only to be hired alongside another room this large kitchen was fully renovated in 2019 with modern cooker / warming cupboard / dishwasher. Regularly used for Claremount’s many social activities, Messy Church and full on Christmas lunch on Christmas day.
Art Room Sunny Room on upper floor with access via staircase. Suitable for art classes, workshops and meetings, furnished with tables and chairs to comfortably accommodate ten people engaged in art activities.
Church Our building stands on a sandstone ridge at the junction of Claremount Road and Sandy Lane, with a wonderful view across the Wirral and the coast. It comprises a large Edwardian space with traditional seating for several hundred people. Coffee area at the rear.
